Following a challenging period of severe back problems after an accident, Miriam discovered relief in a chance encounter with an open yoga class in 2016. Since that pivotal first session, yoga has become an integral and transformative aspect of her life, effectively alleviating her back issues.

Inspired by this personal journey, Miriam seamlessly integrated yoga into her daily work at the school for the blind. The positive outcomes were soon evident: children developed a heightened awareness of their bodies, spatial cognition improved for visually impaired students, those with ADHD experienced increased tranquillity, and children with autism spectrum disorders found solace in the tailored exercises and yoga sequences.

Driven by these moments of serenity, joy, and growth, Miriam decided to pursue formal training as a yoga teacher.

Her passion extends to supporting families with children facing challenges and those navigating temporary or long-term issues such as illnesses and injuries. Miriam is committed to offering specialized courses, including tailor-made programs catering to the unique needs of individuals with ADHD.

Miriam envisions Yummy Yoga as a platform that provides yoga for every body, with a specific focus on making it accessible to everyone with disabilities and restrictions too.
